Grant Rare

Rare Cancer Research?
I am working on an epidemiology project that entails writing a grant proposal for a rare type of cancer. My main problem is that I am going to have a relatively small population to study which is a major limitation in a randomized control trial. How can I justify researching such a rare cancer with the application only being able to help a small group? The only points I can think of is the other potential application in other cancer treatments and just the general advancement of scientific knowledge. Any ideas would be greatly helpful. Thanks.

V – The Final Battle [VHS] $8.20 Though followers of current science fiction television series may dismiss V: The Final Battle as a quaint relic from the pre-computer animation days, the six-hour miniseries about an alien invasion of Earth was a ratings juggernaut for NBC in 1984 and should still provide some entertainment for hard-bitten devotees and fans of ’50s-style sci-fi. The Final Battle picks up four months after the shoc… |

Rear Window (Collector’s Edition) $9.97 Like the Greenwich Village courtyard view from its titular portal, Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Rear Window is both confined and multileveled: both its story and visual perspective are dictated by its protagonist’s imprisonment in his apartment, convalescing in a wheelchair, from which both he and the audience observe the lives of his neighbors. Cheerful voyeurism, as well as the behavior glimpsed a… |
